Chica
When one of my sisters adopted chica, this gentle Chow-Chow/Terrier Bull mix, she had many issues from her previous home. However, in a caring home, with patience and people around her who cared deeply about her, her true and kind nature started to show through.
As a gift for her commitment to this girl who so needed to be understood, I created this portrait for her to be reminded of how lucky they both were to have found each other.
Although I have yet to meet this sweet girl, everyone in my family speaks of her lovingly and with much respect. I know this composition does her justice and faithfully portrays the amazing soul she has.
